nice look and reasonably sturdy, but careful choosing size
I chose Large in Red/Navy colour for my cat, who weighs in at over 6 kg (when last at the vet's) - but he is longer rather than fatter. Lovely, padded design and wide gauge, long lead. However, body dimensions don't necessarily tally with weights given, (the latter) which was my main criteria for choosing the size.This type of harness, that has a free undercarriage for the legs ie closes below body rather than above, which preferably needs a better hugging bodice, for stability - that your pet cannot come out of it easily and that it won't come loose of it's own accord - using the two velcro sections closing together below.Now, what I have is looser than I would have wanted it to be for my cat - even when pulling the velcro straps tighter. In hindsight, probably should have gone for Medium size, since it seems to be a very large fitting, rather over sized than one realises from the figures given.It is unfortunate for me. Perhaps they should combine sizes to give a wider scale in these harnesses - small/medium, medium/large and large/extra large etc etc - with longer velcro on each straps giving extra stability. Or you could have one size fits all, if you had long enough velcro, in that the wider you move the velcro out (being all that is sticking it together), the less securely held together it becomes.ps silk/satin piping material on the collar area, frays very easily and had thread pulls on it, so that might undemine the otherwise cute overall appearance.
