Turn your saw into a precision jointer/edge sander. The Woodtek 10" Tapered Sander Disc has a slight taper which eases the feed pressure and presents a smaller area of abrasive contact with the stock. This allows the abrasives to last longer and most importantly you get a much better finish in less time with less effort. Joint edges accurately on your table saw or radial arm saw with the tapered edge sander disc using your saw fence or miter gauge. The slight taper on one side of the disc allows the work piece to slide smoothly pass it with only a small area of the sanding disc touching the work piece. Tilt the arbor slightly to make the surface 90° to the table. Since the small area is moving parallel to the table, a very clean edge is obtained. The flat side of the disc is for ordinary sanding such as squaring up edges with your miter saw gauge. Uses 10" diameter pressure sensitive adhesive abrasive discs (sold separately) with 3-1/2" center holes - holes fit over raised rims on either side of sanding disc to ensure proper alignment. The 10" dia. disc is aluminum with a 5/8" arbor. Imported.
