Crocs Women's Shayna Mary Jane Shoe

WOW am I bummed! I purchased a pair of these shoes a good decade ago and have worn them to death. I loved that they were kind of just a more narrow version of the traditional clogs, which I also own and like but come on. They're so ugly.Unfortunately I decided to wear them during our DIY home renovation (which was fabulously comfortable, by the way) and now they are covered in paint and plaster and what have you. Of course, in the back of my head, I thought "Hey this are totally replaceable. Just ruin them." Went and ordered a new pair on Amazon to discover they TOTALLY changed the design! UGH. The new ones now have a fixed back strap and are waaaaaaayyyy tighter that the original. Ordered the exact same size and they are too narrow, short and super tight. I hate them.So upset. Returning.I should mentioned I do loves me some crocs, though. These things are indestructible. Outside of the paint and plaster stains, the structure of mine look practically new!

I am living in crocs - I have been wearing classics since the day they came out ( and amazingly these first pairs are still alive) - I wear them at work, at home and pretty much everywhere as they are the only shoes that don't make my back ache! Classics are ugly though - no question about it! I ordered the shayna model a week ago and they are now my new " everyday" shoe. When I first wore them they felt tight but somehow still comfy - I have the most impossible wide feet with high arches and short toes- I was concerned about getting blisters on the side and top of the shoe where the strap is so I started out with socks - only 2 days later I opted for bare feet and no problems so far - I would still use my classics for all day walking ( think Disney or a long shift at the hospital - in these situations I simply don't care about ugly). I have worn my Shaynas one entire week- every day, long hours- on concrete and even for a short hike and find them very comfortable. One plea for crocs though - PLEASE make more Mary Jane styles with good ventilation. And as always - more colors and possibly a duet version :)

I love these shoes. This summer I had knee replacement surgery and after, I found that I was having serious hip and back pain as my body adjusted to having a new alignment. On top of that, I could no longer wear the orthodics I'd worn for years. Then I discovered that super soft and springy Crocs were the answer. The severe hip pain substantially subsided. The only trouble was that Crocs are traditionally the ugliest shoes you will ever love...except these are really cute.The toe box is wide enough for my wide feet without having the huge look of the Crocs clogs. I now now have these in three colors and will get more. These are a great option for someone who needs a really comfortable shoe but doesn't want them to look really ugly. These can even be worn with skirts....or kilts if there are any Scottish men out there who need comfy shoes. lol

My daughter in primary school is allowed to wear brown sandals to school with her summer uniform so crocs sandals here I come! When she first slipped them on (love our honest kiddies) her face mashed and said they hurt her by digging in at the sides. SuperMum who is extremely knowledgeable on crocs raced upstairs, got the hairdryer on to the sticky-inny-bits and expanded them out with the the heat of the dryer. Once cool, made her try them on and bingo! Similes all round. One happy summer-uniformed gal. Each week I pop them into the washing machine and spruce them up again. Love them almost as much as I love my daughter 💟

I like 'em, given that Crocs doesn't make the old fashioned Mary Janes where the back strap was removable so you could walk with the top strap on.Ah, well, we can't all live in 2009 forever, can we?10's were too small. My toes hit the end. Now that I've worn them for over a year, the 11's have stretched. At first I couldn't even wear the top strap, as it made this weird rubbing blister on the inside of my Arch where the little button is.Ha! I showed them! I just took that top strap off.Only now I lost the straps.so I wear them without a top strap. It works okay but they're a little floppy. My own fault...don't blame the shoe.They look cute with capris and pants and skirts.Walking for extended periods of time without socks causes nasty blisters on the sole of my foot from it sliding around inside. THat can be avoided by wearing socks.

I love the way these Crocs look. They are colorful and not overly big and floppy as some of my previously-purchased Crocs are. In fact, someone noted that they made my feet look smaller than they are, which is saying something when one has size eleven feet! Unfortunately, in making them less sloppy looking, they seem to have made the shoes a little short. The size eleven is barely long enough to accommodate my foot. Also, the little "button" on the inside of the left shoe raised a small blister on my foot. I've worn them enough now, however, that the blister has turned into a callus, so they no longer cause me pain. Overall, I'm happy with the shoes. I love the cushioning they provide for my arthritic feet, and, they are cute as can be.

I have been wearing Crocs for many many years now. The original one and then the MaryJane. My husband and toddler wear them too. The old MaryJane was my favorite (in army green). If I had shoes on my feet and I was not at work, I was wearing my Crocs. I do however wear them to and from work and change into work shoes once there. These new MaryJanes are even better than the older version. I like that the back strap is part of the shoe structure and not a moving part. They look nicer this way too. I only wish they still came in army green:(I reported that they do not provide good arch support but I have flat feet and love these shoes. Bought a pair of Croc MaryJanes for my mom years ago and she loves them too.

I've owned a pair of Crocs for three years and they're brilliant. In winter I wear them with cozy socks instead of slippers and they keep my tooties really warm. In summer I slouch around the beach and garden in them; they're soooo comfortable.Now it's summer and I was looking forward to these lighter, more summery Crocs to match the season but was bitterly disappointed to find they were just too narrow around the instep. I knew they weren't likely to stretch (Crocs aren't like that) so reluctantly I had to return them. (Used the Amazon Locker which is a fab way to return items!)Lengthwise they fitted well (I'm a UK6 and so were they); loved the colour too. Have to add that I don't have wide feet, all 'normal' width shoes fit me just fine, but these little gems and I were never going to walk in perfect harmony which is such a shame.I'm now on a quest to find another Croc style which does fit.Hope you have better luck that I did.

I never thought crocs would give me blisters, but these have.The size seems pared down all over, narrower and shorter fit, and I can't see any benefit to having a fixed heel strap rather than the moveable one of the original design (which I can't seem to find anywhere now).The crosolite material seems more dense and its not as easy to stretch the strap a bit as I've done in the past. I have a high instep and D width fitting so need more ease there and the result was blisters. The one upside is that there seems to be more arch support.Overall, these are disappointing because I'm having to break them in like any other shoe which is not what I expect from Crocs so I'm glad they were only £15 and not full price!

I bought these crocs in the colour "raspberry" after I bought the same model in another colour the previous year and found them very comfortable and an excellent fit. However, the fit on this one is different. The back strap appears to be longer which makes them significantly looser to the point of slipping out of them. However, more irritating is the colour. If you like Barbie pink then this colour is for you! Neither the name of the colour, which would suggest a much darker, reddish pink, nor the photo - which also makes the colour appear darker than it is are a realistic representation.

These were very nice and delivered quickly, sadly the bar bit across the top was a bit tight, I decided to send thm back, my feet are quite broad ....so maybe the classic crocs are better for my shpe of foot. These were a relly lovely colour and had the bar not been tight I would ave loved them. Back to the classics for me I guess. Thx Amazon delivery and returns were great.:). Love these. Got raspberry which is more a deep coral pink. Lovely with navy and whites. Very comfortable just like my other crocs. The strap was a little tight due to my high in step but just grabbed them around the middle and gave them a good stretch. Fit like a glove now, a very pretty girlie durable shoe. Fast delivery and great value for money.
