1byone Professional Bubble Machine with High Output, Automatic Blowing Mechanism for Outdoor or Indoor Use

I've had this bubble blower for 3 months now and my purchase price was $39.99. I was so tired so spending ridiculous amounts of money on replacing battery operated bubble machines, and then if we found one that lasted, changing the 6 AA batteries every couple weeks. (My daughter wants bubbles on EVERY time she's outside.) And so I began my search for a bubble machine with an AC adapter. And let me say that this thing puts out an impressive amount of bubbles! It's really glorious to look at! The only downside to a lot of bubbles, however, is that it eats up bubble solution like crazy! I've tried two different bubble solutions with this machine, the Froggys Fog "High Color Bubble Juice" ( Froggys Fog - HIGH COLOR Bubble Juice - Strong Long-Lasting Iridescent Brilliant for All Bubble Machines and Bubblers - 1 Gallon ), and our longtime favorite, Gazillion Bubbles. They both create a lot of bubbles, however, the "professional" bubble juice (Froggy Fog), creates bubbles that fall to the ground and then stay there in a big bubble mass (see pic). The Gazillion bubble fluid is a lot thicker and yet the bubbles are lighter and float into the air and are carried all over the neighborhood before they pop. And so we prefer the Gazillion bubbles, and it is cheaper ($3.88 for 2 liters at my walmart, compared to $25 a gallon for the professional stuff). So to do the math for you, 1 gallon is 128oz, which puts the Froggy Fog price at about $0.19 an ounce. 2 liters is about 67.6oz, which means that assuming you can get the $3.88 price on the Gazillion Bubbles, they are only about $0.06 per ounce! Even if you paid the ridiculously inflated price Amazon has them at right now, ($9.49), they would still equal out to about $0.14 an ounce. The theory on the professional bubble juice is that it is supposed to make more bubbles with less solution, therefore you would use less than you would with a non-professional grade solution like the Gazillion bubbles. I honestly haven't seen this happening though, and I can even add a little bit of water to the machine when it is almost done with the Gazillion bubbles, and it still makes bubbles for a long time if I keep doing this. I started this as a way to clean the machine when we were done but now I do it halfway through our bubble time and it makes bubbles for the rest of the time.The picture included is of what happens when we use the "professional" bubble juice. I have a video of the machine using the Gazillion Bubbles also, I just have to figure out how to post it. They're both good solutions to use with this machine, it just depends on what outcome you are looking for. Maybe some people like a slippery bubbly mess on the ground.So anyway, this is a great machine, you just have to contemplate what bubble fluid you use. And remember also that if you choose to use a lower quality dollar store bubble solution, you will have a lot more fluid spitting out of the front of the machine rather than forming bubbles.~About 2 months after buying this machine, it unexplainably stopped working. I emailed the seller, and they promptly sent me out a replacement at no cost to me. I will update this review if this new machine has a similar fate but so far it is working great! I am very pleased with the customer service and the speed at which the replacement arrived (3 days after emailing).

Update: I have changed my review because 1byone reached out to replace my defective unit and the replacement unit worked so I can very happily change my review to reflect all of the wonderful features that I mentioned in the original review.**** Writing this review is tricky because the design, the number of wands, the fan and the out put of Bubbles is truly SPECTACULAR!! Unfortunately my unit was defective and I had to return it. I have honestly never been so disappointed to have to return a product. I want to be able use this so bad!My almost 3 year old grandson is autistic. Nothing gives that beautiful little boy joy like bubbles! After buying several different battery powered "toy" type blowers from the big box stores. Since he loves the bubbles so much keeping the tiny little tanks of those type machines filled was a near constant chore. I decided to save myself some money in the long run and buy a unit that did not break every few weeks and would not cost a mortgage payment in batteries every month. Not having to stand over the unit with a gallon jug of bubbles to refill every 2 minutes was icing on the cake! I did a lot of reading reviews and I was so excited when I placed this order. I have NEVER waited for a package with more anticipation.I was so excited to plug this in and show my husband and daughter that I had my phone video on when we plugged it in. As you can see from the video the until wouldn't start. I unplugged it and plugged it in again and its started. I was so blown away by the amount of bubbles and the distant the fan was sending them flying that the whole mis-start was easily pushed aside. Size of the tank, AMAZING! Shear output of bubbles, SPECTACULAR! Height of bubbles, ASTONISHING!Unfortunately that first time wasn't an isolated incident. I wanted to cry as I was repacking this to send it back. When it worked it was AMAZING! The only teeny tiny little quim I would have had if the unit wasn't defective was the soapy splatters that pool under it but that was just in a perfect-world-I-wish sorta thing, not hardly a real issue.So tricky thing to review, had it not been defective I would have given it 5 stars and then some!

It makes a ton of bubbles, when it works. I had this plugged in and EVERY time I turned it on it would stop working after 3-10 seconds, so I would have to turn it off and back on, then it would work until I turned it off. I figured it had to be faulty, so I exchanged it for another one..... another one did the SAME thing! I plugged it inside and it did the same thing. You can't use this inside unless you have an extra fan and 2 levels/stories for it to fall or it will be a soap pile on the floor. The drawer doesn't come out so you can't easily clean it out. I'm waiting until someone can make a decent sized bubble machine that's awesome before I buy another one. One of those flavored bubble makers had a machine and it works way better than this but it has a small tray. I was afraid the 1byone would eventually stop turning on altogether so I just returned it because it wouldn't just work when I turned it on the first time.
