The only thing good about these bulbs is the excellent way these bulbs are packed by the manufacturer. The two bulbs are packed in their own one half inch thick styrofoam double box. One packed in the top of the box and one packed in the bottom of the box with one half inch of styrofoam separated them. What is bad about them is not just the hesitation when first turned on, but constant flickering of light caused by constant arching of electricity everyware inside the bulbs. I put the old bulbs back in my ceiling kitchen light even though they have several darkened areas in them and sometimes take a second or two to light up but ounce on give out a nice steady light unlike these new bulbs.
