Great Deal!
Straight out of the box you can see this Soldering Station is worth well over the asking price and it`s backed up by a US electronics dealer.

still happy. I must have gotten a lemon
It worked for 3 month and then gave up. I bought a new soldering Iron and using the base and the regulator. So no big loss for me , still happy.I must have gotten a lemon.

Pretty great for the price
It's under 20 bucks, and you can solder with it. I've been using it a few months now, and so far it has been very reliable. It works fine for circuit board work, and probably for much larger jobs. If you turn the dial all the way counter-clockwise, it rarely gets hot enough to melt solder. Turn it all the way up and it's hotter than I've ever needed. There are two minor issues though. The fastener that holds the tip in the barrel will gradually come unscrewed, (though never enough to send a hot tip at you). It's a little disconcerting, but if you screw it tighter when the iron cools it's good for a while. The other thing is, I wish they sold a smaller tip than 1/32", though it is perfect for most tasks.Overall, this has been one of the best purchases I've made. Highly recommended.
