These are the only racquetball and sport glasses I will ever buy. Great visibility and no fogging - 5 stars.
These are the only racquetball and sport glasses I will ever buy. Great visibility and no fogging - 5 stars.I have tried several others, both cheaper and more expensive, but every other pair of sport glasses I've tried always find a way to fog up on me when I work up a sweat under the right conditions of temperature, humidity and air movement. In a racquetball court, the air doesn't move much, unlike outdoor tennis or biking, etc. If the gym facilities people are not on the ball (so to speak) or management is trying to save money by not keeping it cool inside, my goggles can fog up from my sweat. This has happened to me with every type of goggles except for these Ektelon goggles which have an air venting "stand-off" strip along the forehead. I have never had these fog up on me, under any conditions that I have encountered on the racquetball court or anywhere else. It's odd, because there are other brands which appear to have taken this "trapped air" effect into account in their designs, since they also have some type of venting system, typically holes along the tops of the lenses, or gaps above the lenses... But every single one of those others has failed me and has fogged up under certain circumstances, where this Ektelon set with its "entire top edge open as a vent" has never once fogged up on me.I'm done with testing and hoping for a cheaper alternative. At $20 on Amazon ($25 at most stores), these are neither the cheapest nor most expensive, but they are hands down the best. I will never bother with anything else, and god help me if they stop making these and I have to start drilling extra holes in some other cheap brand to get relief from fogging up.

Great goggles, but easy to break
I love these goggles - they fit my face well, are fog resistant, and are not expensive. But one really needs to keep it in a hard case. The one time I did not put it back in a hard case and it broke in the clear part above the nose. I had mine for barely 4 months.

Tight but very good - UPDATED! Great fit now.
I made the mistake of using a different type of eye protection before I researched why some are better than others. The Ektelon Strobe is by far superior to my old pair but they are way too tight. The discomfort interferes with my game but not having to stop playing to wipe away sweat is wonderful. My old pair fogged up constantly but these have never! I either need to get a smaller head or slowly stretch the ear pieces.I wish they came in a different color but overall, I rate it high.UPDATE: I was able to manually adjust the ear pieces by gently stretching them. Now, they are so comfortable that I often leave the court with them still on my face! A friend is unhappy with her eye protection so I recommended them to her. I might even buy them for her if she lets me win a game! :)

Nice fit. Now I can play without pausing to ...
170823: 1*_Update. Fell apart today. Clear plastic broke at bridge of nose as U took it out of my bag. Revised review: Worthless.170706: 5*_Seems simple. Goggles that don't fog. After 3 purchases, this one model does it right. Nice fit. Now I can play without pausing to wipe my goggles!

Great glasses, when they aren't broken....
I never write reviews (seriously, this is my first one). With that said, I felt obligated to write this review so you, the buyer, will be properly educated on this product (the Ektelon Strobe Protective Racquetball Glasses). I have owned these glasses for one week and I have used them twice. They did a great job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes (both times). I attempted to use them a third time but they broke when I put them on. The lens broke right down the middle by the nose guard. I did not apply any pressure other than the normal strength one would use to put on a pair of glasses. I went back and read older reviews and it seems that others had the same problem with these glasses. This has been an issue apparently for some time now (since one of the reviews was from 2008). As of May, 2010 Ektelon has not fixed the problem. Ektelon is a large company so I am sure they will allow me to send them in for an exchange but I'm sure that I'll have to do some creative writing and wait for weeks to get new ones back. If you do decide to purchase these glasses, Good Luck!!!!

Saved an eye.
I bought these for my husband to replace a pair that fogged and wouldn't stay on his face. The first time he wore these he took a full speed racquetball to the eye. The nose piece popped off and he had a shiner for about a week but no permanent damage to his eye whatsoever. He popped the nose piece back on and the next time he played they were just as comfortable and fog free as the first time. These are well worth the money and when he needs a new pair these will be the ones we buy. You just can't beat safety and comfort combined. No slipping, no fogging, and they do exactly what they are made to do, protect the eyes from injury.

Great racquetball glasses
Fit: Very comfortable.Fog resistance: Excellent (i.e. no fog seen yet).Clarity: Perfect (I often forget they are on).Impact resistance: untested.Style: decent (but not a major concern/deciding factor).Value: Based on functionality & performance, these glasses are an excellent value at $13. Compared to 5 other pairs of racquetball glasses that I have owned ($6-20 range), these glasses are a great comparative value primarily b/c of the anti-fog performance that distinguishes them from all others.Time owned = almost 6 months (purchased 2009 JAN 12)

Can't See My Way To Buying Again
I have used these RB glasses for years and basically love them! Probably bought a dozen pairs over time. They don't fog up, are comfortable and offer nice and clear vision. The problem: The nose piece. They dry up and break long before the glasses are close to done, rendering the glasses useless. How much more would it cost for Ektelon to throw in an additional nose piece? Pennies. So I'm done and moving on to something else for my next purchase. Will look for a pair with built in nose piece.
