The system works great
Installed in my pool area a few months ago. Speakers sound great, provide great bass and clarity. Hid them in the foilage/landscaping. App is easy to use, have it linked with Amazon, Spotify, Pandora, and my iTunes library on my computer. Kids love it also, they have the app installed on their phones. Installed the AMP just inside the exterior wall, drilled holes for the speakers through the house under the deck and fished the speaker wire (2 x 50ft) through the holes then puttied it up. Was a cinch to get it connected to WiFi. Instructions were easy to follow. No issues with delay, router supports up to 802.11ac/bgn wireless speeds along with FioS at 150mbps. Bottom line, a great find for my outside entertainment.

Best Puchase For Outdoor Area
Have 1/2 Acre backyard with pool, outdoor kitchen, etc. Purchased this and two additional speakers. I can now walk the perimeter of my yard and hear the music with great clarity. Only have to turn it up slightly above half way as the design really makes the sound carry in all directions and gives you a very even sound from any location in the yard (You can hold a conversation with someone several feet from the speaker without screaming or straining to hear them). The system was easy to setup on my phone. Used Jazz Audio 12-Gauge direct burial wire with water proof caps to connect the speakers (Cable runs of up to 70 feet from source located in the house). Would recommend this to anyone with an outdoor entertainment area.

Buy The Speakers, Not The Amplifier/Receiver
Very disappointed with the receiver/amplifier. Speakers are great!. Don't buy the combination.....the receiver/amplifier does not connect with "apple remote" so I tried the "workaround" with the "SoundTouch" app to play my music off my server...it consistently losses the wifi connection. Bought a Sony amplifier and reconnected to the apple remote app....no problems. Wish I could return the amplifier/receiver

Bose produces great products such as the SA-5 Amp and FS51 speakers!The hook ups are simple and straight forward. Running the outdoor wires is the only part that took the longest!3 STRONG suggestions to Bose (unless we are just not aware of the followings exist - so, please let us know!):1). The Soundtouch App Interface could use improvement so the end-users won't feel it's an old app from the 2009 era...2). There is no option for the end-user to configure for the wi-fi to stay on static IP address. By adding it, Bose customers will be able to better use the wi-fi protocols.3). The speakers are great, but could be better-priced. Compared to other brands/models such as the AW6500, paying extra for just the name seems silly. Paying more = getting more benefits and features!If Bose can work out these product suggestions, I would then give Bose a 5 star!
