somewhat of a learning curve for a novice but the manual is very helpful. was able to create several options of my future home layout

This is pretty hard. I wasn't looking to attempt an actual bonified blueprint of a house, like some people expect to do with this $95 software. But, I will say it is pretty difficult at this point. I will spend more time with it and hopefully be able to use it, but it will take much patience (which I have never been accused of having).

Crashes my computer every time I use it. Totally user unfrlendly. Would not reccomend this to anyone. Really bad product

I wish it were a bit more user friendly. I am unable to figure out how to use it to achieve the results I was hoping for.

The product has a bit of a learning curve but this is to be expected of such a comprehensive product. I am a software developer so I understand the foundation of CAD. This is a terrific product for those willing to put in the time to learn to use it. It is under priced for the performance. One comment about its documentation however... There are not enough examples.

Perfect for the novice or experienced decorator or contractor. Can easily work from pre-existing photos or create design models from within the program. Failry intuitive. Great product! Thanks HGTV!

Orders this for dad for a gift. He builds houses and I thought he may like it. He hasn't used it all. I tried using it a few times but it's quite difficult to maneuver and hard to understand. Could be a great tool if I knew or understood how to use it and make it look like they do in the pictures...

Not worth the time to learn unless it’s your job. Sweet Home 3D is free and did what I needed.
