Mugzy's Mutt Towel: Awesome 100% Microfiber pet Towel attracts but Won't Trap Fur - 28" x 50"

I looked long and hard for absorbent bath towels for my GSD. I finally bit the bullet and ordered 2 of these in December 2016. I wanted to have them for awhile before reviewing. These are absolutely the best towels ever. When I got them, I was skeptical, as they are thin and seem like they won't really do much. Boy was I wrong. When I bathe my girl, I usually drench 3 regular towels and she still isn't really dry and sprays water when she shakes. I use the first one of these to dry her off 80% of the way. Then I use the second one just for finishing and it gets barely wet. They are NEVER drenched and dripping. Anyone who owns GSD's knows about their undercoat and how challenging it can be to get them dry. Now, I use 1 1/2 towels to get her VERY dry instead of 3 towels and barely dry These things dry out so quickly also. We do underwater treadmill therapy and I take one with me to finish after the vet dries her with two of her towels. This gets her pretty darn dry, which is important, as she is prone to topical yeast infections if left to sit wet for long. Also, I simply lay the towel on my passenger seat on my drive home (about 40 minutes) and it is dry when I get home. These things are just amazing. I cannot say enough good things about them. I just ordered 3 more today, as I find myself using my GSD's towel to dry off my swimsuit when I get out of the pool. I'll admit I was a little hesitant at first because of cost, but they are worth every penny. I don't know how you could not love these. I did read someone's comment saying that they just caused the water to sheet off the dog and the floor ended up soaking and someone else said you have to kind of bunch up the fur in them to dry. I find neither of those things. I use them exactly as I would any other towel. I even showed them to my vet and told her that, although they are more expensive, they would pay for themselves in the long run because you use fewer and thus have few loads to wash. I very rarely give 5 stars and rave about product, but this one I could not let go by without singing its praises.

I needed some towels that could absorb a lot of water and dry our old dogs long haired coat pretty well since she does not like going into the drying cage at the groomers. Our dog is a large Aussie mix with long hair, she is 15 years old and has trouble standing in the same spot for a long period of time because of arthritis. The last time we had her at the groomer for a bath she could barely walk after an hour of bathing and drying with the air blower so we had to come up with a solution for the problem. I looked at Amazon and found this towel, after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try and ordered 2 towels which we took with us to the groomer. She had our dog out in 30 minutes and that included the nail trimming. She was only damp when she came out from having her bath and our groomer was raving about the towels and said that they were awesome and she is going to get some for her grooming salon. The towels did not hang on to all her long black hair either, they washed easy and dried in no time in the dryer. Also, the towels were wet but not soaking wet or dripping water after the groomer was done drying our dog. These are great towels and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good dog towel.

Very nice towel. It does what it's description says it does - dries well and doesn't trap fur. We have a black lab puppy who needs to go out a lot and it is rainy season here. He actually loves being dried off with this towel when we come back in. It does not feel super soft but it works really well. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a loop to hang it on a hook.

We have 2 Beagles, that love to play in the garden and chase each other around, including the slope which has muddy trails. My friend suggested trying them, and I read other peoples reviews and decided to get 2. The first time we used them, we could tell straight away how absorbent they were. They are also light weight, and so much easier to use than our old bath towels we had been using. We will use them at bath time, with much less struggle. ...what I'd expected. The towel is big, feels soft, and did absorb a lot of water from my just-washed pup. However, even though I draped it over the shower rod and opened a window, it took forever to become even somewhat less dry. Hours later, it was just as wet as immediately after use.

I really like these towels. They fold up more compactly than terrycloth towels. I've had mine for over a year and they still look new. The stitching on the border has help up well. They wash easily, and you must not use fabric softener to keep them absorbent. I've never seen any trace of lint in the dryer screen after drying them, so they don't shed at all.I have a 20lb dog with long hair and I find I need 2 towels. If I take her to the lake, I carry 1 towel and leave another in her carrier so she can lay on it coming home. If I bathe her at home, the first towel will get soaked and the second one will get a little damp.

Not that absorbent. Regular towels work better.
