I like the lamp it is well made and I believe ...
I like the lamp it is well made and I believe will last as long as I want it to. The light is bright and has a high and low setting and comes in handy for different projects. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good lamp

I don't know why, but I have been trying to replace a halogen lamp I had for years, and I keep getting LED lamps. I ordered this one, and from all the reviews/ advertising it looked like a 50 w 12 v halogen bulb. but when it came it was a permanent LED lamp. WTF?!

Wonderful Value
I love this light. It's bright and has 2 different strengths. The whole lamp is well-balanced, with a great base. I like the height as well. The quality is top-notch.

Excellent light. You basically get what you pay for. This puts the lower priced look a likes to shame. Sturdy and well built. Very pleased.

I went with the more expensive model. Glad I did!
I'm happy with the lamp. It's a bit different than our original ones, but I have no clue where my husband bot those. The major complaint I have, is that there is protective glass that covers the bulb. Good luck getting that off should you need to change bulbs! I wondered why one of the original 3 we had was missing that glass. Now I know why. All in all a good Bright lamp.

I've had one of these for 20 years - only now did the dual intensity switch start to fail. I paid about $40 for that lamp 20y ago - current price ($135) is ridiculous; this is made in China just like my old one and is not any better in construction. However, it does work as advertised. Do NOT do like I did and start removing the screws where the bulb is, READ THE MANUAL! The way to remove the glass to get at the bulb is different than what I've seen so far (there is a metal ring you need to remove) - if you unscrew those screws you will have a really hard time putting it all back together, will need pliers to hold the nuts inside, and a lot of patience. 3 Stars because the markup on this is just out of this world.
