Looks much better than rust!
I purchased to replace a plastic bed liner when I installed a 5th wheel hitch. While I was at it I decide to tackle my Ranch Hand front and rear bumpers that are only 4 years old and not holding up to Northern Michigan winters. Application was easy once it was prepped. The bed was the easiest part to prep. I bought the primer and cleaned everything well. It was easy to mix and apply. I found a higher pressure left a better texture than lower pressure. It was the opposite of the YouTube videos. Definitely a better idea to test a few different pressures before applying to vehicle surfaces. Overall the texture is appealing, it seems durable, and bonded well to all surfaces. I will try to update in the spring once it has a few miles on it. Well worth the time, effort, and money. I like it so much I will do my truck in color match paint once it starts to rust as it will.

Preparation is key to a perfect job
Preparation is key for flawless results. Don't be afraid of tape & plastic... While it's time consuming yes I spent probably 3 hours taping it off. Not a drop of overspray anywhere and the end results were perfect. It took me less than an hour the spray what you see in the photos. I can't speak about durability longevity as I just finished doing this job. I was quoted $1,000+ to do what you see locally. I did that with four bottles. I bought the eight pack because I'm going to do all of my storage shelves that are going in my work trailer as well. And I'm debating on doing the fender Wells and my wheels. It says 7 days before heavy use so I will give it the full 7 days before I start doing any work inside of it putting shelves things of that nature and. I will do a follow-up review once I start using the trailer for work.. I did remove the tape and sections that I had completed as I went along so I didn't have to worry about using a razor knife to cut through this stuff. It came off perfectly left nice clean lines as you can see in the photo. There isn't enough cleaner to clean out the spray gun when you're done. I just soaked the parts in a little bit of denatured alcohol then put the tube inside the gallon container sprayed it till it was clear. Then put water through it to get rid of the denatured alcohol. Sprayed a little WD-40 up inside to keep any seals lubricated put it away till I'm ready to do my shelves.

Fantastic product
The Raptor Liner spray is the bomb! I had a lot of rust spots on a 2008 Chevy Silverado crew cab 4x4 that I had inherited and it was a hot mess. The rear wheel wells were completely eaten away from rust. I had to cut out the rust area it was that bad. I rebuilt them with fiberglass and bondo. I also addressed the rust on other body parts. I sanded and primed those areas. I used 80 grit on my sander and sanded the entire vehicle that was to be sprayed. I also sanded the plastic and chrome by hand. I cleaned the vehicle and taped up those parts that I didn't want sprayed. I purchased UPOL Grip 4 and sprayed the bondo area, chrome and plastic for better adhesion. I had purchased the 8 bottle kit with spray gun and hardener. I set the PSI on my compressor at 55 and I began the spraying. I wore a respirator and gloves. First thing I noticed was that the overspray was very minimal. I was very happy about that. The Raptor material went on perfectly and I started off with a light/medium coat and after waiting an hour the second coat was heavier. I was extremely surprised at how well it went on. I did spend a lot of time prepping the vehicle. I believe that made a lot of difference. I went thru 7 1/2 bottles. I did not spray the bed. Everything else was sprayed to include all chrome and plastic. It turned out fantastic!!! The material covered up the fiberglass/bondo and it looks amazing!!! My wife was shocked from seeing all the rust spots to then seeing a new like vehicle. Treat the rusts if you can't get to bare metal while sanding. The vehicle is curing for the next 4 days. I took the tires off and sanding the rims due to corrosion. I will use etching primer, Rustoleum black wheel paint, and clear coat. I probably had 10 hours of body work due to the rust and fiberglass/bondo. Then another 1-2 hours of taping areas not being sprayed. The spray gun in the kit is perfect for the job. If you have a rusty truck this is the way to go. Fun project!!! I'm now looking for another project truck to fix and Raptor line and I'll flip that truck. Take your time, do the prep work and just have fun watching the transformation.
