The sail is very sturdy feeling material with reinforced corners and metal d-rings for connection points. Installing it was very straightforward and once it's pulled taught it makes a great shaded area! I will return to update this review in a few years regarding longevity: South CA sunshine is going to give it a run for it's money straight away!

Came quickly and in the custom size I ordered for covering my patio. Looks good quality and beautiful color. Not installed yet.

I took it down temporarily because we had high winds for 2 days. It held up to 35-45 MPH winds before taking it down. I did not want to chance damaging the sail. I put it back up after the windstorm. Looks great! Don't know about long term durability yet.

I used these as sunshades for a self-made pergola. They were wonderful in the 107-degree days and also during the rain storms. I could not be happier with them.

I love this item. I purchased this to create shade over my back patio and it worked perfect. It looks amazing and pulls the whole patio together as a separate space from the rest of the yard. The shade is perfect also. It was large enough to create shade over my sliding glass door and back window making the interior of my living room cooler. I would buy this product over and over again.

I have a terrace and I want a shade to protect from the direct sun.It is durable I have it for 2 years now and it’s perfect, really good performance

Have yet to put up as it's so windy still here. Also didn't come with any hardware whatsoever. So you need to buy that as well.

Good quality material

I tried to install this using patio stones and mounting 4x4x8 posts. It did not work! You need to either anchor the sail into your home and then cement your posts in or else they will pull into the house. (The 4x4 mount plates are stable enough to hold the sail and keep your posts upright). Or, cement in all four posts. You can use flowering pots (big ones of course), fill half of it with cement and cement in the posts that way. You can fill the rest of the pot with soil and plant flowers around the base. It makes for a nice affect. Make sure when choosing a size for your sail that you purchase one smaller than your space. We purchased a 16x14 for an 18x14 space and it is far too big for our patio. Go two feet smaller at least. We are going to have to purchase another one that is 15x13 or 14x12. Just some things to consider. It will save you a lot of time and "trail and error!"

Without eyes along the edges you can’t make this tight, otherwise lovely
