My laptop is about 6 years old but it still outperforms others while it is plugged in. Unfortunately the original battery is a brick. I ordered a replacement from a different company and my laptop did not properly recognize it. The laptop could not locate a serial number on the battery and as a result it was convinced no battery was installed even though the battery would run the laptop. This created all sorts of issues because I could never tell if that battery was charged or when it would shut down. I eventually gave up on that battery and got this one. It installed properly and my laptop can now run hours on this battery with no issues. The little charge indicator at the bottom of the screen shows accurate charge levels. Very happy!

I have just put this battery in and it seems good. Hard to tell since it has only been a few minutes.This is the easiest task for this laptop, but it is an HP so they are a bit harder. (1) The back comes off and there are hidden screws under the rubber foot. The rubber foot that is toward the display assembly side. (2) The back cover is then clipped on really well. I thought for a little bit that I missed something. (3) After that you are kind of to the easy part. (4) You can always google HP 15t-as disassembly for help.(Almost 20 years of PC/Printer/Laptop/Touch Screen/Network/Server repair/service)

old swollen battery put just enough pressure to interfere with my touchpad. switching out with this new replacement fixed it.

I bought this battery at the end of June. It was installed in July. And now, at the end of December, the MAX it will charge to is 30%. Not to mention that's after it was charging to 50% two weeks ago. So basically I expect that this battery will be totally dead well within the next few months and I will have to replace it again.Update 1: It's literally 3 days after I made my original review and the product now only charges to 25%. I think at this point I will keep updating for every 5% decrease in the battery max life so people can see just how fast this battery it dying.Update 2: As of today, January 31st 2024, the battery is fully dead. It should be noted the seller reached out offering to replace it but I declined because they were asking me to give them information I did not feel safe or comfortable sharing directly with them. Especially when Amazon says in big bold letters to never share said information with a seller.

Easy install if you can find every screw. Tools included.

Works great as expected easy to install just need small screwdriver set for electronics.

After Initial charge/discharge cycle. Battery would only charge to 70% battery life. After 4 battery calibration cycles battery only would get up to 78% charged. Additionally, multiple times I couldn't start my computer from battery only. I had to start with plug and then disconnect, then and only then would it stay on.
