Super value and service
Goods arrived before expected date. Excellent service and value. Slightly smaller than the player I was replacing but that suited me as I don't have an abundance of work surface ing kitchen. Really pleased with radio sound quality as well as CD sound. Very good purchase. Would recommend.

Misleading description and primitive technology.
I bought this on the name of Akai being one of quality, sadly far from it. Is more of market stall quality!Product description clearly states 20 programmable radio stations. This is totally untrue, there is no facility to do this. You can programme 20 CD tracks in order, but hardly the same! The radio tuning is totally manual and achieved by a thump wheel on the side. This is so sensitive it is almost impossible to lock onto a station. There is no visual indication as to the frequency. Like a cheap transistor radio of the sixties!

Bad.
Dont work. Not fit for its purpose. Had 3 and all of them broke in a month. Still waiting for a refund after 1-2 months

God radio/CD
Pleased with purchase, we use it in the kitchen and it has a reasonable sound, keeps signal well, our old cheaper one was hopeless!

Big disappointment.
Seven days after receiving this, the CD function became faulty - stopping after several minutes play. This has happened on every occasion I have tried to use it since then. Big disappointment.

Quirky design
Loved the look of this radio/CD player. Using it in my motorhome on battery power when out with no electricity. Very good product.
