Quickly and easily make your favorite hats fit smaller and more securely with our gentle, single sided foam hat sizing tape. Custom made to be soft against your skin. More economical than pre cut strips. Polyurethane foam is carefully sourced for hat sizing to be lightweight, soft and gentle on your skin. This is not weather stripping. Weather stripping contains coarse fibers that can itch and irritate your skin. Our custom made hat reducer tape is the perfect density and width to fit the inner sweat band of your hat. To reduce the size of your hat just a little, cut a 2-3" strip, peel away the plastic backing and adhere to the inner sweatband in the front or back of your hat. Still need a smaller fit? No problem. Cut one or two more strips and adhere in balanced thirds around the inner sweat band of your hat, as shown in our photo. Care Instructions: Remove hats sizing tape before washing or cleaning, then replace with fresh tape. ,br> How to Measure Your Head The best way to measure your head when measuring for hat size is to use a measuring tape and measure around your hairline, starting at the forehead, around the ears, nape of the neck and back up again. When you come to your ears, measure next to your head, not over the ears. A small adult head measures 20”-21.5”. Medium is 22”-23”. Large is 23”-24”. Extra large is 25”. If your hairline grows extra low in the back, measure where you would want a hat or turban to sit. You might want to measure several times to see if you get the same result.
