New Advanced Skull Cap Head Harness Assembly fits the M40 series gas masks, M40A1, M42, M42A1, plus the 3M FR-M40 masks including FR-M40-10, FR-M40-20, & FR-M40-30, and the MCU gas masks. It may also fit other gas masks and respirators. Head harness straps attached to buckles at the ends of the tabs permit adjustment to obtain proper fit of the mask assembly. It is essential that the head harness be in excellent shape in order to obtain a proper safe fit. This gas mask skull cap headstrap is very comfortable, can be worn by anyone, and is also assigned to the hard-to-fit U.S. Military soldiers who can not obtain a proper face seal with the standard strap-type head harness.
