Labello Pure & Natural Camomile & Calendula Lip Balm-4.8 g

After giving birth to our first (and so far only) child two years ago, I found myself experiencing a myriad of skin issues that had never plagued me before. One of those issues was eczema (or perioral dermatitis...I've seen several doctors and have received a few different diagnoses). Basically, I developed a rash on and around my lips and under my eyes. Sadly, it still comes and goes. It is red, itchy, and flakes at times. Sometimes my lips even swell a bit, though I seem to be the only one cognizant of this (others claim they can't tell by looking). On occasion, the rash has gotten so irritated that it even oozes.I'm sure that's a little too much information for some people, but I write this because perhaps it will help someone else with similar skin sensitivities. After seeing several doctors and taking several rounds of oral antibiotics, using steroid creams, changing my toothpaste, and so on, I came across a suggestion online for using calendula on eczema/dermatitis rashes. I tried this, in the form of a popular baby diaper cream product (California Baby--I was desperate), and it did help soothe the irritation quite a bit. After a few weeks, I had a flash of inspiration. I needed to look for a lip balm with calendula in it!The search was on, and I found this Labello product here on Amazon. I am so thankful that I ordered it. The lip balm has a pleasant smell and taste, faintly reminiscent of herbal tea. It applies buttery smooth but does not feel oily or greasy. My lips feel very moisturized after using, and I haven't had nearly as many "flare ups" of eczema/dermatitis around my mouth since I began using it. The few flares I have experienced are also not nearly as bad as they were--no oozing, for example. I can't say that it will get rid of eczema/dermatitis, but it certainly has immensely helped alleviate the symptoms.I have never seen this product in any of my local stores, so I am thrilled to be able to order it on Amazon.

I don't like the scent of it

I was excited to try this lip balm given all the fabulous reviews for it. Since LUSH changed the formula of my former favorite lip balm, Lip Service, I've been looking for something else because the new formula is nowhere near as good as the old. So I ordered this Pure & Natural Camomile and Calendula balm by Labello.It feels pretty good upon first application, but it never feels like it penetrates the dryness. I work outdoors so in the wintertime especially I need something that will stay on my lips and protect them longer than 10 minutes, which is about how long this lasts before it needs to be re-applied. I threw away the packaging before looking at the ingredient list so I am not sure what else in in this balm besides camomile and calendula, perhaps petroleum - which, if so, is disappointing and would explain why it does not last on my lips. They in fact feel dryer after the balm wears off.So, I am still searching for a good natural balm and until then, I've been applying a drop or two of argan or rosehip oil to my lips then a small smear of shea or avocado butter on top of that. This works well enough at night and is better than the Labello balm. I am so disappointed! I really need a good cold/windproof balm that stays put and moisturizes well for daytime use.

The first time I used this lip balm was in Switzerland and it was labelled differently. After tracking down hard to find this lip balm again, I had hoped that it wouldn't be in vain. The lip balm exceeded my expectations. I have severely chapped lips, I am chapped throughout the day, every day. I have used plenty of lip balms: Chapstick, Nivea, Carmex, Burt's Bees, etc. However, this outperformed every other product in a heart beat. Applying this is like applying a thin velvety layer of butter! I am very sad that I didn't get to use it completely because it melted in my car (Arizona heat). I recommend this product to anyone, it really is worth a try. What do you have to lose? I'll re-order soon, it'll be a treat for my self for the holidays.

After a long night of heavy kissing with my man, my lips are in some serious need of lip balm. Labello not only soothes, it moisturizes and softens. Keeping my lips soft, pretty and kissable is a top priority for me, and this lip balm delivers without a waxy residue or a weird smell. This is not a sugary, teen-agey kind of balm: it's for lips that get a serious workout and keep comin' back for more. I have one tube on my nightstand, one in my purse and one in my car. I also put it on before applying lipstick.

First found this while working overseas. Liked it so much that I had to find more of it when I came back. Great product that I don't need to use a lot of to do the job.

I like the product. Goes on smooth and smells great Keep one in my purse And one by my bed. Seemed to help my dry lips. I'll send another review. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT

Fantastic product. Used while living in Italy and very happy I was able to purchase it here now that I am back in the States.
