Rust-Oleum 327926-6 PK American Accents Spray Paint, 12 Ounce (Pack of 6), Satin French Lilac, 72 Ounce

Used the oil rubbed bronze on an out of date, and well worn patio door handle. I had planned to buy a new handle, but found that every door manufacturer has unique design so it couldn’t match my other new hardware.Scuff and smoothed old handle with ultra fine scotchbrite, cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Two light coats of rustoleum black primer a few minutes apart, and then finished with the Oil Rubbed Bronze. Give it a day to dry and looks fantastic! Looking for more things to paint now.

After watching a "Chris Fix" video on making foggy headlights clear, I bought this clearcoat as it was exactly what he used. After sanding, the headlights were hazy. I sprayed a coat of this on and it was actually shocking. The lights instantly were crystal-clear like brand-new. I waited a few minutes and applied a second coat, but then the lights looked kind of dull and hazy and not clear again. Not bad, just not crystal clear. I was super bummed. A third coat did not help. I called their customer service, she said I may have put the 2nd and/or 3rd coat on too thin or too thick. I'm betting too thin, clearcoat doesn't act too well when sprayed too thin. So I just waited a week, lightly wet-sanded with 3000 grit, and then polished with Zaino Plastic Magic and the lenses are very clear. If I get up really close, I can see some imperfections in the clearcoat, like cracks. If I ever do this again, I'll make the 2nd coat a bit thicker, or just use one coat.

I use this for model kits and it does a great job... except:- ambient temperature has to be above 60 degrees Fahrenheit, otherwise it will crease or blur (due to oxygen being trapped).- do not prime the model beforehand, it is not needed as the can has excellent covering properties.- use gloves and a proper mask, as it contains some of the worst chemicals.- let the model dry outside (again, temperature > 60F) as fumes take a while to evaporate -- approx 60 min. for the ones I can smell.- it can be easily weathered.- do not apply acrylic on top.

Fantastic Gold Spray paint as far as durability and the true brilliant gold color that is similar to real gold leafing. Preparation is key however, so I start with a good primer before spraying the 2X gold paint. I also add a coat of clear lacquer on top for double durability. So far I have had excellent results with no chipping or flaking and the brilliant gold color has remained brilliant even after almost 2 years. I took away 1 star from this review because I recently purchased 24 cans of this 2X Gold Metallic spray paint from Amazon. 2 of those cans were defective where there was little to NO gold pigment in the can! I have purchased over a hundred cans of these 2X Gold Metallic spray paints from Walmart over the last 2 years and I have NEVER had this extremely "odd" experience where there is NO gold pigment in the paint. Thank goodness for Amazon's return process, I was able to get a refund on these 2 cans. However, it still created a time consuming hassle for me to have to call Amazon to arrange a credit for these defective cans. Spray paints cannot be returned via the regular returns process so the request had to be made with a live person in CS and only after explaining the reason I am due a credit.Update: 12/8/2019Purchased 12 more of these cans from Amazon since they are always out of it at my local Walmart. This time 8 out of the 12 cans were defective. They were watery and had just a ight yellow pigment for the coloring. Some had very little gold metallic flakes and some had NONE at all, so there was none of the usual bright brilliant gold sheen. Amazon's remarkable customer service was quick to remedy the problem however and I was offered a refund for all 12 cans. Not sure what is going on with these cans from Amazon but I think I will just avoid purchasing them from Amazon and stick to my local Walmart.

When the can's sprayed properly they did well, and the coverage was great when painting white PVC. Really didn't even require a second coat in most cases. However, out of the six can't I purchased, and of the three cans I attempted to use so far, only one can was usable. The other two cans didn't spray smoothly at all. They pretty much just spit the paint out in globs. It came out like one of those popcorn textured ceilings. Horrible results from those two cans. I fear there may be more bad cans in the batch. That would be a regrettable waste of money for anyone purchasing this paint.

I used this on some old rusty metal patio furniture. I just took a wire brush to clean off the dirt and rust and spray-painted the pieces with this paint that dries quickly and looks fantastic! The furniture looks new again! This is the best paint!

I used this product to spray the inside and the inside door of an old refrigerator and the finished product was like new when it was finished.it was an orange color before and now a bright white.It looks amazing.I would recommend this product every time.The product is very strong,so I wore a mask when spraying,I highly recommend this before you start.Make sure you are in a well ventilated area.I also thoroughly cleaned the areas to be painted and let them dry completely.I am very pleased with end result.
