Pegasus SP4588 26-Inch by 48-Inch Tri-View Beveled Mirror Medicine Cabinet, Clear

The first delivery attempt was faulted by a damaged product. FedEx left me a note with regards to the damages incurred during mail transit. As soon as I received this noticed, I contacted Amazon Customer Service Chat-on-Line and the rep without hesitation placed another order and expedited the delivery. The second shipment was received and although the package was heavy, the contents was received intact; in perfect condition. I was surprised at how well the item was factory packaged. The corners were reinforced with molded ABS plastic. This cabinet is made with quality and superb QA processes. Everything fit in its place, support clips, glass shelving and mirrors covered in plastic film, and the entire metal framework is made with aluminum. I surface mounted the cabinet and had no problems installing. I made a support bracket wit 2x4s as the item has weight behind it and required two people to put it in place before securing. My wife helped lift the cabinet. There are clips that slide into the top framework and the clips are then screwed in place. Once the clips were solidly attached to the wall, the temporary 2x4 stand propping the cabinet was removed and a bracket that comes with it was screwed under the cabinet into the wall to provide additional and necessary support. Side mirrors and associated clips are a nice feature to give item a finished look. The doors open smoothly and soft closing mechanism is an added benefit. In some reviews, people complained about the beveled mirror on the inside doors as interfering with viewing, but I don't find it cumbersome. It would be nice to have the added non beveled inside mirror edges, but considering the overall quality of the merchandise I was very happy. Most importantly my wife was pleased overall and that to me is half the battle of making great choices.

I had a medicine cabinet that was made of fiberboard on the outside trim and inside shelves-yuk! Was not long before it started peeling because of the moisture in the bathroom. This one is wonderful; everything is covered in mirrors and aluminum, which will take the moisture. The outside has 1/2" bevel around all mirrors, which does not detract from the view at all. All 3 mirrors open which gives you plenty of room.The inside width measures...left side-14 3/8"...middle-14 7/8"...right-14 3/8"Height between shelves...first 3 shelves-5 3/4"...bottom to first shelf-6 3/8"Total inside length...24 1/2"There are not extra holes to move the shelf up or down a notch, but if you need a taller space you can leave off the next shelf. The glass shelves are thick and made to hold up well.While it is easy to install, it is heavy and two people are needed. We stacked books in the center to hold it up just in case. Also, very easy to clean. The door hardware is top of the line too. I highly recommend this.Note: As for those who received this item broken; mine was packaged with styrofoam, but arrived in perfect condition. Perhaps the shipper is to blame for mishandling the item. I have never had a problem returning something to Amazon. If it's a heavy item ask for a call tag and UPS will pick it up at your home.UPDATE: It's almost been 2 yrs. since we purchased this and it still looks brand new.UPDATE: It’s now been almost 14 yrs since we bought this and it still looks great and I still love it!

reasons i only gave this product 4/5 stars instead of 5/5: 1) i ordered this medicine cabinet for my new condo a few months ago, and when it got here, one of the glass shelves was completely shattered, one of the mirrored edges of the cabinet was sharply chipped, and there was a giant crack on the inside/back mirror once you opened the same door with the cracked corner. sad face! however, i just ordered a replacement bc i love this medicine chest so much...i'm really hoping it doesn't arrive busted this time (i can see that's a trend among people who have ordered this medicine cabinet. 2) for some ungodly reason, the door all the way to the left opens to the right...and the door in the middle opens to the left! that's just nonsensical, and there's no way to switch the left door to the outermost edge so that it, too, opens left.reasons i would have loved to give this a 5/5: i freakin LOVE this medicine cabinet! i actually had the same one in my old condo, just bigger dimensions and it was set up differently (the doors opened in a way that made sense...i think it was the same product tho?)...and it's the best medicine cabinet EVER! it looks beautiful, clean, and it's sleek and classy. this is weird, but i've gotten compliments on it a BUNCH of times from friends and family that come over. and i love the mirrors available at EVERY angle...i can totally check out the back of my head, which is awesome if you need to see what your hair looks like from the back ;) even tho this medicine chest is set up a little stranger, i think i can hopefully acclimate to it. it really is a great product....i really hope it doesnt arrive busted this time!

The product was great and exactly as described. But the shipping was a nightmare. It was over double the longest time allotted.We contacted the shipping company. Know one even had a clue. Where not talking about 1 person. We went from 1 person. Thenup the chain again and again. There attitude was so what. They told me that I would need to go back to the sales company to track it down. Even thou there records show that it had been received by them.

Arrived broken (side mirror was broken) and then the middle mirror fell off of a hinge after one month of use. Someone could havd been badly hurt. I now have to find some way to take it off the wall and replace it.
