very clear numbers, bit fiddly to setup, excellent build quality....very impressed with build quality and the numbers are very clear....it does say it has a 20 number memory in the advert, which suits my father in law as he only needs family and a few other contacts, would not suit me, as I have a cordless phone also with a 99 memory which is always close to full.....don't understand why the manufacturer deemed it necessary to restrict the memory to 20 numbers.....memory is so cheap now it only takes a few Kilobytes to store phone numbers, would add 10-20p to the cost of the phone.....that said it suits the needs of my father in lawUPDATE found there is NO facility to copy contacts from one handset to the other, would have been a great future, would save entering 20 numbers again...also when the contact info is viewed, not all the phone number is displayed, making it difficult to check, the only way to check it properly is to go into edit mode, where there is a risk of changing the number accidently....there is a fast dial option which allows a stored number to be called immediately by holding the relevant keypad number down, unfortunately it displays the number not the name......would be so much better if it displayed the name as a final confirmation the correct person was being phoned, or an optio to choose number or name.......The set I g up procedure is rather fiddly, particularly the ring tone....think there is a different ring tone for the base set and the handset, don't know why they can't just be the same, bit over complicated.......again niggles out of the way seems a good phone.....last quibble out of the way, with a little redesign there could have been M1 M2 and an M3 button..

This phone is not much use if you are hard of hearing it is hard to set up and I could not find how to deleat anythigit is a nice looking phone but no use to me I only have one ear and I have an ear aid I the other one as I have a tumour in my ear canal sorry not much use to me db

Purchased for my mother who is partially sighted and hard of hearing, and approaching 90. The handset has large, clear numeral buttons, and as with the screen - large clear characters, plus the handset has an audio boost button. Excellent all round instrument for someone with the disabilities like my mother has. So bearing in mind who this phone is designed for, why then clutter it with all the usual telephone applications, it just adds to the confusion, I just wish they had kept it simple.

My Mum has found the volume on these phones amazing.

I bought this for my 94 year old father who needed a phone with large buttons so that a) he could see them, and b) he could hit the right buttons with his arthritic fingers.This phone fitted the bill perfectly and he is very pleased with it.Only criticism is that the contact list and speed dial numbers have to be entered on each handset.That apart - an excellent purchase.

I bought these phones for my elderly mother with poor hearing. Prior to this with her standard phone it was difficult to have a conversation with her without constant what did you say? Now with the Doro phones we can now converse easily without any problem. An added benefit is the nice clear key pad on the phones.

Not very good sound quality and my mother-in-law decided to go back to her old Panasonic 'phones

Batts are chep buy some Hicapp ones before maplins closes! Phone is very nice.
