SGT111 DOD Military USB Common Access CAC Smart Card Reader

I am in the National Guard and they were out of CAC readers in our supply room, so I bought this one for my own personal use and it has been very beneficial. I have used it for checking my pay and for others soldiers to plug up for training activities when the company's computers are down.

Did not work on my hp. Could be due to the fact it's an older version of what 2016 has to offer, but it was still a disappointing purchase.

Worked great for about 6-8 months wasn't using it often and it just stopped reading cac. What's weird was reader was still being read by computer

The CAC smart card reader works well, but it took a lot of research and additional downloads to get it to finally work on my MAC. I'm glad that I am now able to access my work email from home.

This came really fast, so fast they forgot the receipt and instructions. But it was self explanatory, plug it into the hole where it fits and put the card in it. Works fine.

This CAC reader is amazing!! I love how it lights up when using it, showing me that it is reading my military ID. I also didn't have to download any software on my laptop to use!! Its easy to use and I have had this for 2 years now and no problems.

I MISSED RETURNING THIS ITEM TO THE COMPANY, THIS ITEM DID NOT WORK FOR REAL MILITARY WEBSITES. A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY.

I was not able to receive my CAC Reader as of yet due to me being in Afghanistan. My CAC Reader was and had to be shipped to my home address and not to my deployed FOB due to you all regulation for shipping packages to APO areas over sea's.
