Works great with our automation for morning wake up light

We just installed these last night and they look amazing. The only tricky thing is there are only certain places where the strips can go at an angle (and right angles only - don't seem to twist well) and certain areas where you can cut them. So plan ahead and measure carefully before you attach them. The adhesive that came with them wasn't sufficient to stick them to the plastic in our window frame, so we also added double sided sticky tape to get them to stay attached. Works well with our other hue lights scenes and with Amazon Alexa.

Easy to install, strong lighting , app easy to control lights , worth it

First, I am a HUGE Philips Hue fan. I have a large and tall bookcase and when having electrical work done in another part of the house, I was "brilliant" (light bulb pun) enough to have the electrician put an out let at the top of this over 10 foot tall beast. My house does not get as much natural light to the interior as my previous house so having this glow against the bit of wall left and the ceiling really adds. Of course, the granddaughters (which is why I moved here) have chosen a seasonal color pallette--for Halloween and they love the scenes that the light changes--and they like it to change faster than slower. I can quickly change to "Read" to have more light that you can read by (vs orange and purple and the like). It installed easily, connected right off and works. I love this light strip. I contemplated the newer strip with the ability to change the lighting along the strip, but the price was too much for me. However, this is great. Hue users know that there are pre-done scenes or make your own or choose from the color wheel.

I’m a huge fan of the Hue lights and have plenty. Hue is the best on the market. I bought this as accent lighting and bought 2 extensions. After installing I could not get the extensions to connect only to realize this product is non extendable. There is an extendable version that is more expensive but much shorter. Big let down considering how much these lights are.
