I have used this cushion for several years. I can't imagine going on a long road trip without it. I just wish it were a little bigger.

Not crazy comfortable but I don’t get sore like I would on a 10 hour drive. Worth it if you drive or sit for a long time

This would be the perfect cushion had the handles for the cover been adjustable. It's super comfortable and does not get hot but it does not stay in place and I'm constantly having to readjust. The handles for the cover are way off and have no stretch. Because of the material of the cushion, it slides. The handles should definitely be Velcro straps. All office chairs are not the same.

I purchased this to use on the seat of my Pelican Catch 100XD. It is a foot powered peddle drive kayak. After peddling around the lake for hours, my butt gets sore. It takes a bit of pleasure from an otherwise pleasant day on the lake. After looking around at different options, I opted for this cushion. It has made a world of difference. I have used it on 2 trips now, and I can say with full confidence that this seat makes an amazing difference. An unexpected bonus is that it also makes my kayak more silent. When peddling this kayak without the cushion, the seat legs rub a bit on the kayak and the seat fabric rubs on the seat frame, making an annoying noise each time you push the peddles. I use my kayak for fishing, so I like to be silent as possible. This cushion took that sound away. The cushion absorbs the movement and I am now in stealth mode. It also makes the seat higher, which I like. A lot of people in my kayak social media groups alter their seats to elevate them. It makes fishing easier. So, like I said, the extra 2-3 inches I get from this cushion help a lot. That pro also creates a con, however, as the seat's back rest becomes "shorter" and I have noticed that my upper back is missing that support that is lost when using the cushion. I corrected that by reclining the seat a bit. It wasn't a perfect fix, but it helped. I logged 4 hours on the lake last night and my back and backside both feel fine today. Just to be clear though, this isn't going to eliminate the pain in your butt completely. I still notice myself shifting around here and there to relieve some pressure, but believe me, there is a WORLD of difference between using this cushion and not using it. I also used it on a 2 hour car drive and it was lovely. I had to make my car seat lower though because the added height created by the cushion changes everything I am used to. If you get this for the car, keep that it mind. It is okay if you have car seats that can be raised/lowered. If you don't, I am sure it will be fine, it just will take a few trips to develop new muscle memory.

Listen, I know the price seems outrageous. Over 100 bucks for a seat cushion? (If you watch the price, you might get it for around 85ish)Let me save you some time, money, and possibly getting BANNED from Amazon for too many returns.**Stop looking and get this one!**Trust me, this is the one to rule them all. I tried 13 different cushions I found on Amazon and NONE of them come close to how good this one is! That Includes the other legit Purple cushions. I tried all those, too. This has the perfect balance of thickness, sturdiness, and flex you need for a seat cushion. All the other alternative brands were too flimsy, even the 4-inch-thick ones. I tried the other Purple seat cushions, and this one was the perfect one. The other Purple cushion are either too thin, or way too thick and hard.I had lower lumbar spine surgery, and if I sit on a hard surface for too long, I get excruciating back pain, spasms and can barely move. This has 100 percent fixed that issue. I started working from home this year and it was between getting an expensive $700-$800+ ergonomic computer chair, or a 100 dollar seat cushion. I can do a 9+ hour shift sitting in my cheap old computer chair with no issues. I sat on a 5.5 hour Spirit Airlines flight with this as a cushion and had no issues. I am 6ft, 220lbs just to give you an idea.I promise you this is the one.

This is too small to be truly comfortable. Clearly meant for children. Probably not worth the cost. But for what it is, it’s comfortable.

Very comfortable as a seat cushion. Be sure to check whether it’s for hard surface or soft surface. Product description noted this one is for hard surface and I used it on my office chair (soft surface). Not very comfy. I switch it to a hard chair and it’s very very comfortable. I might need to get one for soft surface for it to work on my office chair.
