Great Fryer but
The Good: This is a really good fryer functionally. It heats up FAST .. Really fast. It does NOT have a break away cord so don't put it anywhere it could get pulled off. I have not had a fryer come to temp as fast as this one does... Like ever in the past 40 years. That's the good it works like a champ.The Bad: This is the reason I could not give it a full 5 stars. The metal is on the thin side and they did not do anything to deal with the sharpness of said thin metal. Every single piece is so sharp it will cut you. I cut myself (think paper cut just holding onto 3 different pieces) LOL I am wearing my cut resistant gloves when I break it down to clean it. That sharpness being slick with oil is going to be deadly. With proper care when cleaning it should be fine. I wish I could weld. I would simply add small strips of metal to the edges to fix it.

Slow oil heating. Cleanup was impossible. Oil temp drops so fast. Not worth the $$
After tons of research and reading reviews we chose this double fryer only to be very disappointed and let down.Thin sharp metal. Slow oil warm up, inconsistent heating.This is almost like working with raw sheet metal that is extremely sharp. This should come with safety gloves just for handling and cleaning.I had high hopes but completely let down.

Works perfect
Bought it to use when we do our fundraisers. Works well. No assembly required. Arrived quickly. Heated well, quick rebound between batches. It is large but we have a commercial kitchen to store it. I can nit speak of how easy it was to clean someone else did it. Lol great buy
